I recently shot some stunning wedding romantics at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano, and the photos turned out so gorgeous I just had to share!
The property at the Mission is so beautiful, and we had an amazing time using all these backdrops. San Juan Capistrano was a mini little road trip up from San Diego, about an hour and a half away. We shot from 4-5 p.m. in June, and while I was a little bummed it wasn’t gonna be golden hour, there was so much shade that it was totally fine.
We were able to create a faux golden hour look using the buildings to create a warm glow anyways!
I’ve gotten to photograph several milestones for Abbie and John from their pregnancy announcement, proposal, and family photos. When Abbie reached out to me wanting to do their first look + wedding photos at Mission San Juan Capistrano, it was an immediate YES.
