Take a peek at one of the sweetest proposals in Southern California!
This surprise proposal in Newport Beach, California was a little extra special to me because it was for my best friend’s older sister, Jocelyn! Parker’s family owns a rental property in Newport Beach, and every summer they take an annual family trip to Socal.
He planned to fly her younger sister (aka my bestie), Julissa, into Socal so that she could be there for the proposal.
Before Parker and Jocelyn showed up, I was hiding on the beach where Parker planned to meet us. After they passed me, I followed them as they walked, and started taking photos.
Parker started off the proposal by reading Jocelyn a letter, and just moments later, she obviously said yes!
After the proposal, Jocelyn realized her younger sister was there, and was thoroughly shocked.
We snapped a few more pictures with some family that was also there, and then left to go to a little bit of an after party.
Parked made reservations at a rooftop bar in Anaheim, so that we could all watch the Disneyland fireworks over drinks and appetizers.
It was the perfect celebration to a magical evening!
