Where is your stress coming from?

Let’s talk about this for a sec and dial in where the majority of your wedding planning stress is coming from! (Aside from the fact that it’s just flat out hard to organize all the moving parts involved with planning a wedding….)

There is a LOT of pressure that comes from friends and family about how your wedding should be, what it should look like, who you should or shouldn’t invite, where it should be, etc. etc.

I just want you to take a second to remember what this day is about for you and your partner. It is YOUR wedding day together. It’s not your aunt’s, or cousin’s, or dad’s, or sister’s, or mom’s, or mother-in-law’s wedding….

Now, some of those people might be pitching in financially, so you might have to take some of their opinions into consideration. However, at the end of the day you should be prioritizing what you and your partner want.

Every Wedding is Unique

Please remember that every wedding day is unique. Someone else’s timeline doesn’t have to dictate what your timeline looks like.

There are so many ways to incorporate different traditions into your wedding day.

There are also a lot of different factors that impact what your wedding timeline will look like:

• time of sunset
• hours of coverage with your photographer/videographer
• first look vs. no first look
• having more reception activities that you want photographed
• having to travel between multiple locations

The list can go on and on, but you get the point!

Just remember when viewing these timelines I put together for you, that this is NOT exactly what your timeline has to be. I would recommend using it as a guide for how much time should be allotted for each event rather than making your wedding reflect the exact order!
